So I've not seen FMA, but I really liked the scan
so I thought I'd have a pop at walling it.
As you may have noticed from my walls I quite liek
the irony of having a wall (as in brick or concrete)
in my walls (as in desktop wallpaper). ok, it's not
a very good irony, but there you go. So anyway, he
also looked like a punk and that he was leaning on
something, so it seemed natural to go for a decaying
wall with grafitti on it.
But then I tried it and it looked crap, so I went
in a different direction. Then some of my friends
over at AP said to do grafitti again, and I eventually
ended up with this.
I like it, but there were a lot of critiscisms, not
least of which were the "squiggles". This
kinda surprised me, as they're actually a type of
grafitti called tags (though they're not actually
'real' or based on anything specific) and yet people
didn't seem to recognise what they are. Ah, well.
btw, the main alchemy symbol is supposed to be old
and is starting to glow as ed is being caught in the
flashlight of a security guard or cop, presumably
because he's preparing to attack.
