| abstract walls |
| Collection of desktop wallpapers featuring abstract
designs, made predominantly with photoshop. |

The tumbnail is deceptively bad on this one - it's
a lot better than it initially seems.
Originally this started out as a gits: sac wall,
but it looked kinda naff, so I fiddled some more and
made it a proper abstract.
I thought the shapes looked a lot like plectrums,
but other people have said they look like penguins.
I guess that means it's a good abstract. |
|
This was really just a bit of fun.
I was farting about with photoshop making splodey
shapes, and then I was farting about with Macromedias
fireworks making what looked vaguely like circuitry.
Slap them together, add on some pretentious text
and voila! A vaguely interesting wall. |
|
This was inspired by my kiddy grade Eclair - lipstick
wall. I just really liked the background and added
some bubble type shapes. These then migrated their
way back onto the Eclair wall.
It's kinda cute and pretty and I don't really do
cute and pretty normally. |

Inspired, maybe bizarely, by the cover art of the
software MSDN Updates. It's significantly different,
but the influence is definitely there.
It amazes me what happens inside your brain. Something
goes in and then something completely different pops
out the other side.
I like it, but if I was to do anything differently
it would be the wall. It just doesn't look as good
as it could. |

This is a stunninly simple desktop that I think is
increadibly beautiful.
It's reminiscne to me of an early sunrise, or flying
in a jet at high altitude, or possibly even overflying
an alien world... upside down. |
|
As in male sheep, rather than pc type ram.
I'm not sure if I really nailed it, though. Still,
it's kinda pretty. |
|
I really like this one. It's reminiscent of a crater
in a liquid surface that has then solidified. |
|
My original concept for this was "creation",
meaning the big bang, rather than adam & eve.
However, slapping a blue light on it (and some other
bits) gave it this striking loook.
Most of these abstract desktops come from me playing
about with ps filters to see what they do and then
setting out to get something specific using them.
Sometimes I tweak too far, but other times I get things
like this, which I'm pretty pleased with. |

So dark and yet so pretty.
This works really well as a desktop, and I was using
it for the longet time and umming and erring over
whether it needed anything more. |
